Yesterday Kate got up early and headed to Waikanae for the Inter-Regional Cross Country.
She began this journey to Inter-Regionals by winning the Amesbury School Cross Country, progressing to Northern Zones, then onto Interzones and finally by placing in the top ten at Regionals. It has been several months since these races happened, but yesterday Kate had the opportunity to take on the best Year 5 girls from Wellington, Canterbury, Nelson and Tasman.Kate ran extremely well in her race and finished 22nd. We are very proud of your efforts, Kate, and we wish you all the best for future races.
